Project Cowboy is making the journey to becoming the next great reality TV star just a little more competitive. Not only will America’s Greatest Horseman or Horsewoman need to prove themselves in the “Battle of the Sexes” during “Taking the Reins” produced by Midwest Horse Fair but now the playing field has been leveled across all breeds and disciplines. To be the best you must compete against the top trainers in every discipline. The Western and English/Gaited rounds will compete under an equal point system so each contestant will have the same chance. Appropriate rail work, patterns, obstacles and judges will be used in each round. With a horse market as diverse as the one found in Wisconsin, the only way to decide who America’s Greatest Horseperson will be is to offer horseman and horsewomen of all ages or disciplines the same opportunity. The “Battle of the Sexes” will indeed be warfare until the end.

Project Cowgirl will be filmed as the second event in the RFD-TV series to be aired this winter.
