# Events in 2012!
RFD-TV Air Times: Feb. 14th, 21st and 28th, 2013 (tentative schedule)

Project Cowboy, presented by the American Quarter Horse Association, is “American Idol” meets “America’s Got Talent” for cowboys and cowgirls, and gives horsemen the opportunity to display their talents on horseback and in front of the television camera. The first Project Cowboy for men only of 2012 was held at the inaugural Horse Expo Pomona in California February 2-3. the second Project Cowboy was reserved for cowgirls to show their talents. Both competitions were filmed for a reality television program that is set to air February 14, 21 and 28 in 2013. Fans will be able to view the show on RFD-TV thanks to the American Quarter Horse Association and its sponsorship of Project Cowboy.

Project Cowboy includes several rounds of competition that will challenge the horsemanship and communication skills of the competitors. All competitors, on their own mount, will be challenged to showcases their talents in the pen and on the screen. Elimination rounds will progress offering more diverse and challenging obstacles to prove who will receive the title of “the Great American Horseman.”
